Development steam test device
In cooperation with Holter Regelarmaturen, UniteQ developed a steam test device (STD) for monitoring the pressure and/or temperature inside a steam tube. When this becomes too high the STD will trigger an actuator of a steam valve that will bring down the pressure/temperature.
The steam test device for monitoring pressure has been certified by TÜV in accordance with TRD 421. In addition, the STD can be delivered with a SIL (functional safety) certificate. By equipping the STD with a PLC, the SIL certificate can be as high as SIL 3.
